Shelomoh Cabrit could be the Jew from Perpignan with possessions in Girona documented at the end of the 14th century, but we have no biographical information about his wife or daughter. Shelomoh, who died in 1395, was the son of Mossé Cabrit, a Jew from Banyoles, and had at least two brothers: Abraham Cabrit (a Jew of Girona from 1375 onwards, already dead by 1391, and the member of the family about whom we have the most documentation, especially regarding moneylending; we know that he and his descendants lived in Girona's Jewish quarter) and Asmies Cabrit (married to Tolrana, Jews from Perpignan). In 1372, Shelomoh Cabrit relinquished in favour of his brother Abraham all the rights he might have had over the house that had belonged to their late father, located in Girona's Jewish quarter. This house would have been in the block of houses in the section of the now-disappeared street that reached as far as the present-day small square Institut Vell, according to a document from 1296 that mentions the house of Mossé Cabrit.
