Education

The Institute works in two main areas: education and outreach. We offer academic and scholarly programmes that include the organisation of international conferences, lecture series, language, culture and history courses, seminars aimed at different groups (such as education and tourism professionals), workshops, and activities for families and children of all ages. We also participate in activities organised by other organisations and institutions with the aim of promoting awareness of the city's Jewish history and culture.

Lecture series

The Institute collaborates regularly with the Ferrater Mora Chair in Contemporary Thought at the University of Girona. Since 2005, we have jointly organised lecture series on thought and culture related to Judaism. The lectures take place in the Institute's classroom during the first five months of each year.
