The Institute of Studies

The Institute, which bears the name of the distinguished rabbi of Girona Mossé ben Nahman, or Nahmanides (Girona, 1194 - Acre, 1270), was established in 1997 with the aim of recovering, studying and promoting the history of Girona's Jewish community. The Institute's mission focuses on research and education and is complemented by a specialist library with free access and consultation.
