The Patronat

The Patronat Call de Girona was established in 1992 as an autonomous municipal body by the Girona City Council, the Provincial Council of Girona and the Government of Catalonia. The Patronat is responsible for the physical and cultural recovery of Girona's Jewish heritage, the urban rehabilitation of the Jewish Quarter, and its promotion and development. Its headquarters are located at the Bonastruc ça Porta Centre, which houses both the Museum of Jewish History and the Nahmanides Institute for Jewish Studies.
