Catalan historical archives preserve different types of documents that allow us to understand the daily life of the people who signed them. For example, through the collection of contracts titled "Liber Judeorum de Salomó Vidal" (1334‑1340), we can learn about economic relations between Jews and Christians. This book contains money loans and other business dealings carried out by Salomó Vidal with various people from Girona and neighbouring parishes. On the cover, a caricature of Salomó Vidal stands out, likely drawn by the notary's scribe.
A reproduction is displayed on the second floor of the Museum of Jewish History - Call de Girona, while the original is kept at the Episcopal Archive of Vic.
