During the archaeological excavations (2012‑2013) in the inner courtyard of the Museum of Jewish History, the remains of a 13th‑century house were uncovered; it had been destroyed at the end of the 14th century. This large ceramic piece was embedded within the interior walls of the house. Everything suggests it was placed there intentionally, as the stone wall was built around it: this remains one of the unresolved mysteries of the Call.
