Library catalogue

The subjects covered by the collection are all related to Jewish history and culture. The largest section is devoted to the history of the Catalan Jewish communities, especially that of Girona, as well as to the history of the Jewish people throughout the world and across all periods. It is followed by books on Kabbalah, philosophy and Jewish thought from all eras. Also significant in number are books dealing with relations with the Christian community, including topics such as persecution and the Inquisition, as well as works on science, literature, poetry and Jewish culture in general. The collection also includes books on cooking, art, folklore, anthroponymy, children's stories and tales, music, and more.

Since 2008, we have considerably expanded the section devoted to women's studies. Finally, it is worth highlighting the fiction collection, one of the most widely used and read sections of the library.
