The Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2019 aims to establish reporting mechanisms or whistleblowing channels that guarantee confidentiality and protection for individuals who report breaches of the law within a professional context. This Directive was transposed into Spanish law through Law 2/2023 of 20 February, published in the Official State Gazette on 21 February 2023, concerning the protection of persons who report regulatory infringements and the fight against corruption.

In compliance with the provisions of the Law 2/2023 of 20 February on the protection of persons who report regulatory infringements and on combating corruption, this Internal Information System has been established.

The system fulfils the purpose of the above-mentioned Law by enabling natural persons who have an employment or professional relationship with the Patronat Call de Girona Autonomous Agency to report the actions or omissions referred to in Article 2 of the Law, without acquiring the status of an interested party by making such a report.

Reporting persons may choose to submit information through the Internal Reporting Channel of the Patronat Call de Girona Autonomous Agency or through the external channel operated by the Catalan Anti-Fraud Office.

The Internal Reporting Channel of the Patronat Call de Girona Autonomous Agency allows reports to be submitted in writing and/or verbally, anonymously or otherwise. In all cases, the confidentiality of the reporting person and any third party mentioned in the report will be guaranteed.
