I Trust AI is a multidisciplinary, multinational project led by the University of British Columbia, aimed at designing, developing and leveraging artificial intelligence to support the availability and access to public records through the creation of a sustainable working network involving academia, archival institutions, professionals and industry in a feedback process that strengthens knowledge across all parties.
The project involves individuals and institutions from 30 countries and 5 continents: 83 universities, 22 companies and international organizations, 16 national and regional archives, 118 academics, 102 professionals and 41 student-researchers.
The Girona City Council participates through its technical staff as a specialist collaborator in various working groups and collective case studies. The SGDAP’s estimated total contribution as a partner is €70,000 in staff time, including the organization and support of activities throughout the 5 years of the project.
