These engravings were stamped in the workshops of the National Chalcography of Madrid between 1937 and 1938. The exhibition arrives to Girona thanks to the work of the Network of History Museums and Monuments of Catalonia, of which the History Museum of Girona and the Museum of Mataró are members.
The exhibition opens tomorrow at 5.30 p.m., with the participation of the deputy mayor and alderman of Culture of the Girona City Hall, Quim Ayats i Batrina; the director of the History Museum of Girona, Sílvia Planas i Marcé; the director of the Museum of Mataró, Anna Capella, and the curator of the exhibition, Aina Mercader Sbert, among other figures and guest artist.
Several free activities such as lectures, guided visits and workshops for families have been planned around the exhibition and presentation of the unpublished painting Scene of the French war. The capacity is limited so it is recommended to book in advance on the website.
