Christmas at the Museum 2025 will take place from December 6 to January 7 at the museums of the Territorial Network of Museums of the Girona Comarques The students have designed and created the campaign poster and have designed a personalized activity book for each of the 26 museums in the Network

This Friday, the presentation of the eleventh edition of Christmas at the Museum took place at the Olot School of Art, a campaign that will fill the museums of the Territorial Network of Museums of the Girona Comarques with activities from December 6 to January 7.

This year, for the fourth time, the joint Christmas at the Museum campaign has been developed as an educational and co-creation project with the students of the advanced vocational training cycle at the Olot School of Art. The students, through the museum collections, have been able to understand and design materials aimed at children. Both the design, conceptualization, and execution have been the result of a working process that began last school year and concluded today with the presentation of the campaign and its launch.

The students have designed and created the campaign poster (the winning poster was created by Neret Cortés), and they also conceived and designed a personalized activity book for each of the 26 museums in the Network.

In addition to the free proposal for visiting the permanent collection of the museums with the campaign's activity book, as is tradition in the territory's museums, children visiting them can enjoy a wide range of workshops and educational activities. The 26 museums that are part of the Network offer a broad selection of family activities scheduled for the Christmas holidays: children's workshops, Christmas camps, nativity scenes, escape rooms, search for "tions" (Catalan Christmas logs), music auditions, King's lantern-making workshop, Christmas postcards, and Christmas story recitals, among many others. The aim is for the museums to become part of the family imagination as an open, playful, welcoming, and friendly space to discover heritage and local traditions during the Christmas season.

From December 6 to January 7, coinciding with school holidays, families with children of all ages will be able to visit the museums in the Network freely, with a small activity booklet provided to them free of charge. Through this activity book, they are invited to search for four items or spaces in the museum. Once at the items, they must solve small challenges based on observation.
