Monday, June 9, 2025

The cloister of the Girona History Museum will host musical performances by duets, quartets and guitar ensembles from the students of the Girona Municipal School of Music and the Tutti Music Classroom in La Bisbal d'Empordà.

On Saturday, June 14th from 6pm, more than 4,000 students from music schools and musical entities will perform 100 simultaneous and free concerts in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands in the fifteenth edition of the Symphonic Festival.

In the regions of Girona, more than 300 students from music schools will participate in 6 simultaneous concerts. The city of Girona will host 4 simultaneous concerts at the Casa de Cultura-Aula Magna, at the Pati de Venus of the Seu de la Generalitat de Catalunya in Girona, and at the Museu d'Història de Girona.

Once again, the cloister of the Museu d'Història de Girona will host musical performances by duets, quartets and guitar ensembles from the students of the Escola Municipal de Música de Girona and the Aula de Música Tutti de la Bisbal d'Empordà.

The SIMFONIC Initiative is promoted by the SIMFONIC Association with the aim of visualizing the work carried out by Music Schools, understanding musical learning as an investment in education and ensuring that young people are the protagonists.

The godmother of this fifteenth edition is Suu. In her honor, at 7:00 p.m., the song “Tant de bó” will be played simultaneously at all concerts.

All concerts of the SIMFONIC Festival are free and open to the public.
