The Girona History Museum received a total of 38,112 visitors from May 10 to 18
The Girona History Museum received a spectacular 38,112 visitors during the nine days of Girona, Flower Season (May 10-18).
This success includes 21,373 visits to the Girona History Museum's facilities and permanent collection, 6,815 to the current temporary exhibition "Women botanical illustrators" 2,118 visits to the Kindergarten air-raid shelter, and 7,806 to the coal shed.
The two Saturdays were the days with the highest visitor numbers: the opening Saturday, May 10, with 4,104 visitors, and the 17th, with 4,647 visitors. That day also coincided with Museum Night, and with the museum's opening hours until midnight, 1,250 people took advantage of the nighttime visit to the Girona museum. The last Sunday in "Girona,temps de flors", May 18th, was also International Museum Day, and it received 2,158 visitors, most of them new visitors discovering the Girona History Museum for the first time.
