Special opening hours of the Girona History Museum
The team at the Girona History Museum would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! And we do so with the work Epiphany from the collection, by an unknown author and dating from the 17th century, which you will find in the lobby.
The Epiphany or Adoration of the Three Kings is one of the iconographic themes that has become an essential scene, indispensable in Christian contexts since ancient times. It is the liturgical feast commemorating the Nativity and the first manifestation in which the mystery of the divinity of Jesus is revealed.
These days you can visit us and participate in the family activities that we have prepared for you and that you will find [in the agenda]
We remind you of the times of these MHG Festivities and of the exhibition hall where the exhibition "INFRALOCUS. The 90s in Girona, a 20-year decade" is located
On December 24 and 31 and January 5, the opening hours will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
On December 25 and 26 and January 1 and 6, it will be closed.
The nativity scene exhibition, which you will find in the Carbonera and the cistern, is open every day from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. except Christmas Day.
