The Museums come to the streets of Figueres

A morning full of activities and educational workshops as a sample of what families will find if they ever come to visit the museums of Girona!

The Network of Museums of the Area of Girona organizes its 6th display of the workshops offered by the museums of the area of Girona.

The History Museum of Girona will participate with its workshop “Flies of Saint Narcís. Discover the legends and characters from the imagery of Girona”, by the association Baba Babarota (from 11 a.m. to 12:25 p.m. at La Rambla, Figueres).

There will be more than 20 workshops alongside a small exhibition as a display of the rich heritage from the museums that we can find in the area of Girona. In accordance with the plurality of themes from the museums from the Network, the available workshops will be related to the items exhibited at the Museums as well as to the heritage and pedagogic discourses they offer.

Visitors will be also able to enjoy the workshop “Find the intruder!” 4 objects hidden inside a box, which one is the odd one? It will be necessary to find the Museum where the intruder belongs to and thus discover the rich heritage offered by 26 museums from the Network of Museums of the Area of Girona.

Moreover, during the event, the Toy Museum of Catalonia will offer a 50% discount in tickets for adults and free tickets for children. Bookings for the general ticket to visit the Birth House of Salvador Dalí will have a 6€ discount during all November.

This year, as a novelty, the restaurants from Figueres have joined to the initiative, and visitors of the activities will have a 10% discount in the final receipt of the following restaurants: Dynamic, Tony’s, Txots and Mesón Asador.
