During 2023, the Girona History Museu m has updated the data of 5,642 pieces within the MuseumPlus management program

In 2023, the Girona History Museum has updated the data of 5,642 pieces within the MuseumPlus management program.
Based on the subsidy received for the inventory and documentation of cultural assets that make up Catalan museums granted by the Department of Culture of the Generalitat of Catalonia for the year 2023, the Girona History Museum has updated and reviewed 5,642 records that were incorporated into MuseumPlus in a massive transfer made during the course of the year.

In addition, the latest pieces incorporated into the municipal heritage fund have been registered and in this way, all the pieces in the fund are within the MuseumPlus program.

The Girona History Museum guards the municipal heritage fund, currently made up of 17,741 pieces, takes care of it, conserves it, investigates it, interprets it and disseminates it to the public.
