Vicenç Huedo is a politically committed activist in Girona during the second half of the 1970s and throughout the 1980s. He has produced altruistic and critical works linked to his socio-political activism, such as posters, engravings, cartoons, and newspaper and magazine covers, which can be found in the space dedicated to him at the Girona History Museum.

Huedo is an essential artist within Girona's artistic landscape. Throughout his life, he has been deeply involved in the city's social and political life and has been an active member of the artistic scene: he was a member of the Democratic Assembly of Artists of Girona (ADAG) and a drawing teacher at the Municipal School of Art for more than three decades. His extensive artistic production includes painting, drawing, and illustration, encompassing landscapes, imagined realities, still lifes, figurative works, and portraits.

This year, Girona pays tribute to the master artist and his sensitive view of the world and the city with a program of eight exhibitions accompanied by various activities, taking place
from January 15 to May 25.
