A commitment to the new art Journeys of the avant-garde in Catalonia through the Rafael and María Teresa Santos Torroella collection Temporary exhibition

The collection and archive-library of the critic, historian and poet Rafael Santos Torroella make up a valuable ensemble that is not only serves as a testimony to the life and intellectual trajectory of one of the most important figures on the Catalan and Spanish art scene in the latter half of the 20th century, but also offers us a journey along the pathways of the avant-garde in Catalonia from its origins up to the 1960s. This journey is what we are focusing on in this exhibition.
