On 14 January 1974, the Francoist regime arrested six people for having formed a workers' committee at the Torras-Hostench factory in Sarrià de Ter. These workers were charged by the Public Order Court of Madrid with unlawful association and illegal propaganda, and were detained and taken to the cells of the former Civil Government police station. They were later imprisoned for between one week and fifteen months in Pont Major prison.
This itinerary aims to recover the memory of these events and pay tribute to the people arrested 52 years ago for organising one of the first workers' committees in the Girona counties at the Torras-Hostench factory. We will do so with one of them, who spent fifteen months in captivity in Girona prison.
